Happy Thoughts Card

Beate's Wednesday Tutorial on SCS was for a String Spinner/Suspension Card. Of course, I was up for the challenge. The window allows the message to spin around using dental floss and suspended circles. The large image is popped up using dimensionals, and is watercolored using the aqua painter and ink pads.

Stamp Sets: Sassy Stems, Think Happy Thoughts
Papers: Purely Pomegranate, Soft Sky, River Rock, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Soft Sky, Purely Pomegranate
Accessories: Silver Brads, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, Dental Floss, Purely Pomegranate Double Stitched Ribbon, Dimensionals, Aqua Painter

Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!

Thanks So Much Sketch Challenge

You can tell I am having a great time doing the SCS challenges again. Todays Sketch Challenge (SC137) was so much fun to do.
My card features the use of many punches and tone on tone stamping. The large scalloped circle is popped up with dimensionals.
Stamp Sets: Wanted, So Many Sayings
Papers: So Saffron, Always Artichoke, Really Rust
Ink: Same as Papers
Accessories: Scalloped Circle, Star, Word Window, & 1" Circle Punches, Always Artichoke Grosgrain Ribbon, Copper Brads, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!

Big Flowers Card

I did this card for the Inspiration Challenge (IC88) on SCS this past weekend.
RECIPE:
Stamp Sets: Big Flowers, Little Flowers, Tagger's Dozen
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Sahara Sand, Rose Red, Old Olive, Really Rust
Ink: Same as Paper
Accessories: Various Punches, Paper Piercing Tools, Ribbon

Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!

Tag Card - DTGD Yvette Challenge

One of the challenges that SCS offered during their 3rd Anniversary was tag cards. I love these cards and now that I am home from convention I have time to stamp and do challenges again.
My Tag Card was for Yvette's Tag Card Challenge. The Tag Card measures 9" x 5 1/2", and is scored at 3" and 6". The only rule was to use only one stamp set, and any sentiments used needed to be from that stamp set. I used the Garden Whimsy Stamp Set. The colors are Lavender Lace, Lovely Lilac, Groovy Guava & Whisper White. The small images of the snail, one of the ladybugs and the large butterfly in the center are cut out and dimensionals are added to make it pop off the paper.

Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!

My Convention Card Swaps

Card Fronts I made for general swapping at convention. I used the Bodacious Bouquet and Warm Words Stamp Sets. The oval punches
were used to layer the saying.

More card fronts for general swapping at convention. This was a shape card for a baby outfit. The whisper white card stock is the shirt and the colors (sage shadow, pretty in pink, barely banana, bashful blue, blush blossom) are the outfit. Complete with white brads to look like snaps on the shoulder.
I used the small tag punch to cut out each little pocket stamped with the image from Greetings Galore. Each color was stamped with the same ink pad color to get a tone on tone image. I punched the saying with the word window punch and attached with eyelets. Alot of cutting and details, but a fun project to share.

Another card front that I made for general swapping at convention.
This card features watercoloring and dazzling diamonds glitter
in the center of each flower.
The stamp sets I used are Sassy Stems and Sincere Salutations.
The colors are Always Artichoke, So Saffron, Rose Red, Almost Amethyst.

I only made a few of these for general swapping. I couldn't wait to play with new things. I used the Priceless stamp set. The colors are Groovy Guava,
Almost Amethyst, Lovely Lilac. The new Photo Corner Punch highlights the corners of the card. Each flower is cut out and popped up with deminsionals.

These are full cards I made for an organized convention swap on SCS, for WOW! cards. The idea was to make a card using a unique fold, type of opening or technique. These were my creations. Both were a great deal of work with extra details added.

Unfrogettable:
The slit punch with ribbon creates a tab to hold the card closed. When you open it it has a frog stamped and popped up.

Artfully Asian: A variation of a pocket card. The greeting slides out from the side where the circle punch creates a tab to pull.

My Convention ATC Swaps

These are the ATC's I made for general swapping
at convention.
Sets used: Unfrogettable
Be Happy
Flaky Friends

These are the ATC's I made for an organized convention swap by
marthaunplugged on SCS.
The technique I chose was faux stitching.
I used the Just Like You set. The colors are Lavender Lace, Elegant
Eggplant, Apricot Appeal and Whisper White.

These are the ATC's I made for an organized convention swap by marthaunplugged on SCS. The technique I chose was marbeling.
I used the Tagger's Dozen stamp set. The colors are Not Quite Navy
& Purely Pomegranate.
